Witold A. Pleskacz received the M.Sc. degree, the Ph.D. degree (with honors) and D.Sc. degree in electronic engineering from the Warsaw University of Technology, Poland.

Since 1984, he has been with the Institute of Microelectronics and Optoelectronics (VLSI Engineering and Design Automation Division) WUT. He is an Associate Professor and Head of Warsaw ASIC Design & Education Center (ADEC).

His research interests include: computer-aided design methods and algorithms, layout-oriented manufacturing yield modeling, defect-based approaches to fault modeling, design for manufacturability of integrated circuits, defect oriented testing methodologies, and methods of designing integrated circuits in submicron and nanometer CMOS technologies.

prof. dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Górecki

Krzysztof Górecki received the M.Sc. degree, the Ph.D. degree (with honours) in electronic engineering from the Technical University of Gdańsk, Poland, the DSc degree in electronic engineering from the Technical University of Łódź, Poland.

Since 1990, he has been with the Department of Marine Electronics in Gdynia Maritime University. He is a Full Professor and Dean of Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Since 2006 he is IEEE Senior Member.

His research interests are in the areas of modelling, analysis and measurements of semiconductor devices and electronic circuits, particularly including thermal effects. He elaborated compact electrothermal models of power semiconductor devices, magnetic devices and integrated circuits used in switch-mode power supplies, compact electrothermal models of components of solid state lighting sources, new methods of measurements thermal parameters of semiconductor and magnetic devices, as well as the new methods of fast electrothermal analysis of dc-dc converters.
